(More customer reviews)I received this roaster as a housewarming gift by our realtor several years ago. Although I knew it was a very nice gift, I'd never priced it until a friend asked for a recommendation on a roaster for a Thanksgiving turkey. I was really not terribly surprised at the price since I've used the roaster over and over and it still looks brand new, but I did have a renewed gratefulness for the gift! This roaster is very heavy, and with the deep lid, is also extremely versatile. I was a little concerned about food sticking, since I'd been raised using non-stick cookware, however, I was so pleased with the results that I no longer own non-stick cookware at all. Every roast, bird, or casserole I've made in this roaster has turned out beautifully. This is one item in my kitchen that I am certain will be passed down to my grandchildren some day.

Stainless Steel Cheese Slicer/plane 9.5"/24cm Review

(More customer reviews)All of my Norpro brand products are made in the USA; however, this cheese cutter was made in China. This one is nicely made, but I wish it were heavier/thicker. It cuts cheese nicely though, so I'm satisfied.

Crock Pot 5-Piece Tool Set Review

(More customer reviews)I received these and tried a few out over the last couple of days, and they seem pretty nice. Be aware, the tongs are kind of large, an have a wide profile and flat bottom edges. Also, though the set pictures a slotted spoon, I actually received a second spatula, the second not slotted, instead of the spoon. I'm not sure if everyone will, or if this was temporary or an error.

Calphalon Contemporary Stainless 8-Quart Pot with Glass Lid and 2 Inserts Review

(More customer reviews)After stocking up on Calphalon cookware through Amazon, I almost purchased this item after reading the official Amazon review. Fortunately, I examined one while browsing a local store, and saw that only the bottom was aluminum core, not the sides, and the bottom was impact-bonded with a seam. Examine the Amazon close-up picture and you also can easily see the seam at the bottom.
The box I looked at clearly stated this as well. The multi-pot that I examined was definitely Calphalon Contemporary Stainless, not the less expensive Simply Calphalon series. This is not the 8-quart stockpot, which is much more expensive, and does not come with any inserts.
I am purchasing the Calphalon Tri-Ply Stainless 8-quart stockpot instead, and finding an after-market stainless steel steamer insert. The inserts for this pan and the Simply Calphalon Stainless 8-quart multi-pot do not fit the Tri-Ply. The two pasta inserts that Calphalon offers for sale alone are for the professional and contemporary stainless stockpots only, and also do not fit the Tri-Ply.
The official Amazon review needs to be revised.
