Crock-Pot SCR500SS 5-Quart Round Manual Slow Cooker, Stainless Steel Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I hate this cooker. I have it a little over a year. The lid rattles during cooking. It also spits hot fluid all over the counter. The handles and exterior get very hot! The low setting is quite high and I've burned more things than I care to remember. I've done all I can think of to adjust liquid levels and cooking times. Well, I've come home to find a charred roast for the last time. It's going in the trash!

Progressive International Pineapple Corer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I slice quite a bit of pineapple and was looking for a helpful tool. This didn't work. The metal blade is too flimsy for the heavy duty job of slicing through pineapple. With quite a bit of pressure and elbow grease, it barely cut through. You have to cut the pineapple manually to almost a perfect "square" before even using the tool, quite a bit of wasted fruit. The core section usually yields core in your final slice and cuts away good fruit. Messy and time consuming. Extremely dissapointing. Not even worth committing precious drawer space for. I've now since seen it at my local grocery store and Target.

Norpro Chicken Timer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a great little timer! Sure, it's not all fancy and digital, but it gets the job done just the same. And it adds a bit of whimsy to my little kitchen. When I have freinds over for dinner, they comment on how cute it is. The ringer is loud enough that I can hear it anywhere in my 1 level apt. If you are upstairs or downstairs you might not be able to hear it as well though. If you are looking for a cute, basic timer, this is it :-)

Crock-Pot 3040-BC 4-Quart Round-Shaped Manual Slow Cooker, Stainless Steel Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I love to cook in crockpots. I am a working mom and wife and need to be able to use a slower cooker a lot. We bought this one because it is so pretty and seemed to be good quality. After four uses, the handle on the left side cracked and half of it broke off. The right handle is cracked as well. The temperature knob was the next to go. Since I like the look of the pot, I was going to take advantage of the good price on Amazon to buy another, but after reading the other reviews with the same problem, it appears that Rival is not going to do anything to fix these known defects. Do not buy this pot!!!
