(More customer reviews)I bought the Non-stick, Non-scratch tongs because I bought a new set of pans. I thought they looked really good and functional. Well after a couple of uses, the pin that holds the paddle to the metal handle and paddle fell off . I tried to secure the pin on several occasions, but it won't hold. I've had these for about 1 month, and have to throw them away.
I am assuming mine were defective, since I haven't seen any negative reviews. From now on, I think I will just buy all metal, and be careful not to scratch the pan. I just want to warn consumers to double check the secure-ness of the pins, because those pins are sharp. (I had throw the salad away, since it was lost in the salad)

When I was a guest and was using these, I realized they are a little too big and heavy for everyday use. I think I would buy lighter ones or even plastic ones for everday use myself. Very nice product for guests.

(More customer reviews)I've owned these for slightly more than two years now and they still get used at least once a week. The way they are put together assures that they drain properly when you set them in the silverware part of your dish rack to dry. I like these so much that I have actually just given away all the other variants I used to have. I can't speak to the dishwasher-ability of these, but they still look and function good-as-new after all the handwashing. Highly useful kitchen basic that was clearly given a lot of design thought so as to be good for years of regular use.

(More customer reviews)I needed a pair of tongs that wouldn't slip from wet or greasy hands. This product is great. Strong stainless steel with rubber inserts to help with the grip. I have a long pair too - that are perfect for working with outdoor grilling and smoking. These are the shorter ones and are just right for working with stove top cooking and serving. Oxo makes similar ones but I like these slightly better.
